Shaan reveals to Sam just how prolific he's been by listing his projects in real-time.
Sam claimed he doesn't view himself as prolific, but Shaan disagreed: "I think you're blind to it dude." He started rattling off Sam's projects: hotdog stand, moonshine company, book club, events business, newsletter business, blogging, paid subscriptions, Airbnb rental, Airbnb community, mastermind community. "That's 10 and it's been ten seconds," Shaan said.
Sam joined in, remembering more: conferences, meetups, CopyThat.com copywriting workshops, Sam's List (for accountants), a roommate-finding website that made him $3,000, MyRentor (universal rental application), this podcast, MoneyWise podcast, Instagram content.
Shaan pointed out they'd named at least 17 things, probably 20-25 total. He asked Sam: compared to his siblings or average people, how many would attempt this much? Sam's answer: "Less than a tenth." The revelation hit Sam that what felt like "hobbies" were actually prolific attempts at building businesses.
