Y Intercept Slope Method
Share
A mathematical framework for evaluating people and whether they live up to expectations.
- Y Intercept - where the line starts, represents initial expectations or reputation
- High y intercept: come in with extremely positive perception
- Low y intercept: come in with extremely negative perception (like Tai Lopez)
- Slope of the line - what happens from there as you get to know them
- Upward slope: they exceed your expectations over time
- Downward slope: they disappoint and fall short of expectations
- Use for evaluation - helps predict whether someone is "the real deal" based on trajectory
